Introduction to Short hike to Lac Blanc
Lac Blanc is a small lake in the Vanoise national park. It's a nice destination for a short day hike. And just before you reach the lake, you pass Refuge Lac Blanc, where you can have a drink, lunch. Try the tart au myrtilles, if you're lucky they'll have a piece for you. The views are magnificent, from the refuge and the lake you'll see the white peak of Dent Parrachée (3697m).
This hike starts at Bellecombe (2307m), where you can park your car. In july and august a shuttle bus can take you there as well.

The Refuge Lac Blanc opens early june and closes at the end of september. This hike is fairly easy, but high enough to see snow early in autumn and well in to spring.
